Santo Niño de Pasion de Navotas A few blocks from the historic parish of San Jose de Navotas, there is a newly established parish that became one of the centers of the devotion to Santo Niño de Pasion in the country, next to Sts. Peter and Paul Parish in Poblacion, Makati City (home of the images of Virgen de la Rosa and Sto. Niño de Pasion de Makati). Even from its early years as a visita (chapel), devotees already flock his throne to seek his help in their everyday needs and it  became one of the most frequented holy places in Navotas. San Jose de Navotas  (original image) The City of Navotas, located in the northern part of Manila, is known as a fishing city due to the extant of the thriving industry up to this day. The industrious city of Navotas was placed under the patronage of St. Joseph since the Spanish era and it was proven to be providential. The people of Navotas sought the help and protection of St. Joseph and their devotion to the Foster Father of Our Lord and Chaste Spouse of Our Lady became part of everyday life and history of the parish.
